About the role

Our partner company is urgently seeking support in production optimization as a Process Improvement Manager (m/f/d) – Industry & Manufacturing. You will contribute by analyzing processes, developing strategic measures, and identifying new business opportunities.

You will receive a permanent contract with us and work directly on-site at our partner company. We will guide you through the entire application process and remain available as your point of contact at all times.

Work tasks

  • Developing a Product Vision: You create a clear vision for optimizing production and manufacturing processes, aligning it with the company’s goals.
  • Defining and Prioritizing the Backlog: You gather requirements from manufacturing, structure, and prioritize them to deliver the greatest value to the company.
  • Analyzing and Optimizing Processes: You identify opportunities to improve cost structures, margin calculations, and production workflows.
  • Stakeholder Management: You work closely with production managers, process engineers, and other teams to understand requirements and develop sustainable solutions.
  • Supporting Implementation: You ensure that improvements and features are efficiently implemented and achieve the desired results.
  • Monitoring Performance: You track relevant KPIs, measure the success of implemented optimizations, and make data-driven decisions.

We are looking for

  • Extensive experience in production and manufacturing processes, particularly in optimizing workflows, cost structures, and margin calculations.
  • Strong analytical background with the ability to understand complex processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • A degree in industrial engineering, production technology, business administration, or a comparable discipline.
  • Fluent English skills (C1); good German skills are a plus.
  • Must live in Hamburg or within a commutable distance

Desirable:

  • Experience with project management methods (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project).
  • Knowledge in stakeholder management as well as coordinating and implementing projects in an agile or hybrid environment.

Knowledge can be gained through education, experience or self-taught.

Our partner company: is part of an international group that develops and produces specialty chemicals and sustainable energy products. At the Hamburg site, around 300 employees are working on the further development of chemical products. The company focuses on innovation and digitalization, supported by a Digital Studio that implements projects for process optimization and automation.
