About the role

Due to the strong order situation, we offer you the opportunity to start as a PLC Programmer (m/f/d) at our partner KUKA in Saarbrücken. You will be employed by us and will work on-site at our partner. With good collaboration, there is the possibility of becoming a permanent employee at KUKA. Work tasks

  • You program automation systems using Siemens TIA Portal and WinCC, integrating Safety controls in the process
  • You commission the systems on-site, conduct system tests and configurations, and optimize the systems for ongoing operation
  • You are responsible for the maintenance, adjustment, and expansion of existing systems, and you carry out modifications
  • You manage the drive technology of the systems, particularly with Siemens Sinamics or SEW, and ensure the networking of the systems using Profinet
  • You work closely with clients, implement their requirements, and advise them on system maintenance and plant integration
  • Depending on your experience, you take on organizational tasks, initiate projects, and independently manage more complex tasks during the commissioning process

We are looking for

  • You bring initial professional experience in the commissioning of systems and in manufacturing companies
  • Solid knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal and WinCC, as well as experience with safety controls, is expected
  • Knowledge of system networking and basic knowledge of robotics (KUKA) are advantageous
  • Experience in drive technology, ideally with Siemens Sinamics or SEW, is desirable
  • Good German skills (at least B1) and fluent English skills (C1)
  • Willingness to work occasional weekends and shift work in exceptional cases
